K1500 suburand door handle inside wont open.

Want to replace latch but cant open door to. I have to put the window down and open it from the outside. The rod is attached to the handle. Inside door handle on my 1995 suburban wont let me open the door i have to roll the window down and use the outside answered by a verified chevy mechanic.

I had problems with the inside door handle outside still worked cable a while back but i fixed that problem and it has been working great since then. You can take a long screw driver of piece of drill rod and manipulate the lever that opens the latch to get the door open and make repairs as needed from there. Not letting door to open.
